Background
Zyntax is a dynamic team of testing experts who started in 1999 to deliver independent test advice, consulting, and training. Our experience started ten years earlier in 1989 with the development of a testing tool since purchased by a leading test provider.
Since then we expanded our experience and knowledge further with a focus on Quality Management. We can work with many leading market tools and remain independent. We have found IBM Rational to be an excellent business partner with innovative products and open development teams and we have thus chosen to focus on IBM Rational products, not only in terms of consulting but in the areas of training, mentoring, reselling, leasing, test agents and plug-in development.
Although the customers for our products and advice are geographically dispersed, our services are generally provided to companies in Europe.

Members of the Zyntax team have also achieved ISEB certification.
The ISEB certification is a recognition of a standard of knowledge regarding automated software quality and testing. Although we do not feel that ISEB certification makes an individual a good tester, we see its benefit as providing a common terminology for a newer test organisation.

Zyntax is an active member of the Rational User Group community and encourage users to take an active part. The Global Rational User Group will be present at Rational Software Conference 2010.
Rational User Groups are independent, user-run membership organizations that provide Rational users with information to assist them in the implementation of Rational Software solutions. Members share a tight connection with Rational, helping to define and shape future products. They also learn from their shared knowledge and experiences with the Rational products.

For the outsider, dutch and flemish are essentially the same language with slight differences.

The UK Rational User Group is led by Julian Holmes. Julian is active with organising meetings.

TestNet is a dutch testing group and so a description (in dutch) of the activities:
TestNet is een netwerkorganisatie van, voor en door testers: TestNet biedt haar leden de
mogelijkheid om buiten de directe werksfeer contacten te onderhouden met andere testers
en daarme kennis en ervaring uit het vakgebied onderling te delen.
Er worden regelmatig thema-avonden gehouden en werkgroepen gestart over een specifiek
testonderwerp. Daarnaast organiseert TestNet seminars en geeft ze een nieuwsbrief uit.
